LEARN TO KNIT with Josie McGill
Cost: $60
Saturdays, Jan. 5th & 19th 1 – 4
PM
Class Limit: 6
Skill Level: New Knitter
Start the year off right with a knitting class.
Learn to knit in this 2 session class. You will
learn the six basic skills in knitting; cast-on, knit,
purl, increase, decrease and bind-off. In the end
you will have a very nice washcloth to take home.
Pattern provided in class.

FAIR ISLE SIMPLIFIED with Cindy Nelson
Cost: $45
Saturdays, Jan. 12th & 26th
1-3PM
Class Limit: 6
Skill Level: Intermediate
This class is designed to introduce the knitter to the
techniques of Fair Isle Knitting. In this class
you will begin to develop skills in two-handed knitting.
We will create a simple hat on circular and double point
needles. We will discuss yarns, color, charts and
patterns.

for you. Each box is color coded to help you choose
correctly. Of course, you can always ask the staff for
guidance on picking which class is just right for you.
New Knitter/Crocheter:
Never knitted or crocheted before.
Beginner:
Brand new to knitting, practicing the basic skills and ready
to try a simple project.
(Fun project classes for Intermediate and Advanced
knitters.)
Intermediate: Comfortable with the six basic
skills and ready to learn more techniques.
(Fun project classes for Advanced knitters.)
Advanced:
Mastered the six basic skills and comfortable using them in
various combinations. Know multiple ways to increase
and/or decrease and ready for more challenging projects.

INTRODUCTION TO “MAGIC LOOP” with Lia Harris

BEGINNING LACE with Cindy Nelson

Skill Level: Beginner – Intermediate
This great class will introduce knitters to the
wonderful and creative art of lace knitting. There
are only 2 basic skills needed; decreases and yarn overs.
We will discuss yarn, needles, patterns and charts in
addition to working some lace patterns. This class
will use swatches only. There is no project.

LEARN TO CROCHET with Josie McGill

Skill Level: New Crotcheter
This class is designed to get you started on the
wonderful and creative craft of crochet. You will
be introduced to beginning crochet skills such as;
chain, single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, half
double crochet, pattern reading and more. Pattern
provided in class.

2 SOCKS ON 1 NEEDLE – TOE UP with Lia Harris

Skill Level: Intermediate
Eliminate row counting and yarn shortage worries…knit
both socks at once! The technique is also good for
sleeves, mittens, or anytime you need two of the same.

INTERMEDIATE LACE with Mary Hill

Saturdays, Mar. 1st & 15th

Class Limit: 6
Skill Level: Intermediate
Intimidated by lace? Don’t be! Take the next
step in lace knitting with this beautiful scarf.
Techniques covered include new decreases, new increases,
following charts versus row-by-row pattern directions.
You should be comfortable with the basic decrease,
increase and yarn over as well as chart reading – or
have taken the Beginner Lace Class.

STITCH SAMPLER WASH CLOTHS with Sue Crawford

Saturdays; Mar. 22nd & 29th

Skill Level: Beginner – Intermediate
Learn stitch techniques while making versatile
washcloths! This class covers row-by-row
directions and basic charts. Sue uses the always
popular Sampler Scarf by Ann Norling as the focus
of this class; so once you finish your washcloths, your
on your way to make this beautiful scarf.

Saturday Apr. 12th 9-12Noon
Skill Level:
Intermediate
Double knitting is the technique of knitting two layers
at the same time to create a double thickness.
This is fun, simple and challenging at the same time.
We’ll practice the technique by making a felted pot
holder. Once you have the basic concept, many
other project ideas will come to mind.

ADVANCED LACE with Mary Hill
Cost $45
Saturdays, Mar. 29th & Apr. 12th 1-3PM
Class Limit: 6
Skill Level: Advanced
Take your knitting to the next level with our third lace
class in the series. Learn triangular shaping, how
to follow multiple charts and lots of tips and tricks to
get beautiful lace results. Must have a solid
understanding of lace techniques and charts or have
taken the Intermediate Lace class.

BUILDING BLOCKS TECHNIQUE CLASS with Kathy
Roberts
Cost $100
One Saturday a month for 6 months…there is a waiting
list, please ask
Class Limit: 4
This class is about improving your knitting skills.
We go back to the basics and focus on the how and why of
six subjects starting with gauge and blocking, then
working through texture stitches. The class is
designed around large 12 inch swatch blocks used to
perfect your skills.
Materials and homework are discussed in the first class.
SMILE SWEATER “KNIT ALONG” with Kathy Roberts
Cost $30

Want to knit a sweater but afraid of the directions?
This is the class for you! Join this 3-part knit
along. You will start at home; then come in for an hour
of help at three key points in the directions. In
Feb. be ready to tackle the shoulder shaping and neck
finishing, in Mar. we’ll work on the sleeve directions
and Apr. is all about the finishing.

addicts while feeding your addiction!
Some optional sock anatomy clinics for
$10 will be scheduled.
PRIVATE LESSONS
$35.00/Hour
$35.00 for the first hour and $30.00 for
